Garmin looses pink nuvi 200 / 250 GPS systems on Europe
Europeans that just so happen to be in the market for a new GPS system and consider pink their favorite color can uncork that bottle of Champagne, as Garmin truly is coming through and delivering not one, but two pink navigators to your homeland. Both the nuvi 200 and nuvi 250 are set to hit Europe in "candy pink and powder pink" hues, and while the nuvi 200 seems to be exclusive to Halfords, the limited edition nuvi 250 should be more widely available. Aside from the color options and the "matching accessory case," the duo looks to remain unchanged from their less vivid siblings, and both are slated to land next month for £169.99 ($347) and £199.99 ($409), respectively.

I wonder how bad their marketing department is going to get shot when they figure out that nine year old girls don't drive.....

What color would you suggest would sell better to women?
zabador @ Oct 23rd 2007 10:43PM
Personally, I think a woman would be more interested in a unit that would fit in with the rest of the car interior, not having something bright and pink that doesn't fit in at all. That being said, why would they design a unit that only a woman (possibly) or teenage emo kid (definitly) would be interested in... talk about a niech market.
