They'll pack the PSX roms in signed containers and add other kinds of DRM there as well. Then they'll make the packages downloadable for money on their net site.

Makes a lot of sense for PSP .. the game selection isn't too hot atm. PSX games will look very decent on the 4" display, will be able to be distributed without packaging and additional development costs and will definitely lure in nostalgic gamers.
